Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:

Those people who meet one of the following requirements will have the right to apply through the centralized admission route to the Universidad Católica del Norte:


  • Have an average score of 458 points or more, between the Mathematical Competence (M1) and Reading Competence tests, with the exception of applications for Pedagogy careers, where a minimum average score is not required but compliance with one of the first two requirements to access pedagogy careers indicated in the thirty-sixth transitional article of Law No. 20,903 (modified by Law No. 21,490 of 2022), indicated below.
  • Have a high school grade average that places them within the top 10% of their class, in their educational establishment.

Master’s Degree Admission Requirements: 

Previous training:

. Academic degree of bachelor’s degree, derived from the fulfillment of the study plan of a career leading to one of the professional titles mentioned in the preceding letter or to a related professional title, granted by a State University or recognized by it, or granted by a Foreign university.

Supporting documentation:

  • Academic background of the applicant, obtained at the home of study, suitable for following the program, that is: certificate of academic degree and/or professional title, certificate of concentration of grades, university study plan and curriculum corresponding undergraduate curricula.
  • Letter of intention to deepen knowledge in the lines of research of the Master in Wood Construction, in which the applicant presents and substantiates the reasons why he/she wishes to take the program, and his/her experience in the topics covered by the Master.
  • Curriculum Vitae, duly supported, with the academic and work history of the applicant.
  • Two letters of recommendation according to the format established by the program.
  • B1 English level certification or be willing, if necessary, to level your understanding and expression in this language. International tests such as TOEFL, TOEIC, Michigan or Institutional Test applied according to annual academic programming will be means of certification.
