Admission Requirements:

Step 1: Application

• Click http://admission.uits.edu.bd, select your desired program and click Apply.
• Fill-up with your information and complete payment procedure.
• You will receive an SMS (Login ID and Password) in your mobile.

Step 2: Verification

• Send scanned copies / photos of your Transcripts & Mark-sheets (SSC, HSC/equivalent), Testimonial, NID (or birth-certificate / passport) to admission@uits.edu.bd.
• You will receive a phone call from UITS once your documents are verified.

Step 3: Admission

• Login at http://admission.uits.edu.bd using your Login ID and Password.
• Fill-up Admission Form according to your documents / academic certificates.
• Complete payment procedure.You will receive confirmation of the process.

University of Information Technology & Sciences Scholarship

This policy shall cover all types of stipend or waiver or scholarship or any financial concession to any student in any name or under any head at any level of study which will be collectively called as ‘Waiver’.

Types

The university shall provide the following types of waivers to the student in a semester subject to the fulfillment of the conditions specified for each type:

1. Waiver for the sons and daughters of freedom fighters
2. Waiver for meritorious students of remote and underdeveloped areas
3. Sufi Mizan Foundation stipend
4. Ratnagarbha Tahmina Rahman Scholarship Fund
5. Relational Stipend
6. Waiver at the time of admission
7. Board of Trustee’s stipend
8. Vice Chancellor’s stipend
9. Waiver for Physically Challenged Students

Waiver at the time of Admission

• Merit based scholarships are available for students of undergraduate programs based on the results of SSC and HSC examinations. Students having A+ at both SSC and HSC levels excluding the marks of additional subject (course) will get 100% waiver on tuition fees. Students passing both SSC and HSC with a combined GPA (including marks of 4^th subject) of
  • A+ in all Subject in SSC & HSC (conditions Apply) For the rest 50%
  • 10 will get 40% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 9.5 but less than 10 will get 30% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 9.0 but less than 9.5 will get 20% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 8.5 but less than 9.0 will get 15% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 8.0 but less than 8.5 will get 10% waiver on tuition fees.
• Students passing both SSC and Diploma with a combined GPA of
  • 9.0 will get a 40% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 8.5 but less than 9.0 will get 30% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 8.0 but less than 8.5 will get 20% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 7.5 but less than 8.0 will get a 15% waiver on tuition fees,
  • 7.0 but less than 7.5 will get a 10% waiver on tuition fees.
• Students admitted on credit transfer will be eligible for these categories of benefits provided that they satisfy the stated criteria.

Merit based scholarships will continue in the subsequent semesters if students meet the general criteria of waiver.

Housing and Dormitory Fees
