UNIVERSITÉ VIRTUELLE DU SÉNÉGAL
The creation of the UVS by decree N° 2013-1294 is an implementation of the decision 02 of the Presidential Council of August 14, 2013 which consists in “putting Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) at the heart of the development of higher education and research to improve access to higher education and the efficiency of the system”. This decision relates to the following directives:
Set up the Senegalese Virtual University (UVS) and Open Digital Spaces (ENO) in each of the regions of Senegal and within public universities.
Set up the Information and Management System for Higher Education and Research (SIGESR).
Interconnect all public and private higher education institutions.
Create a virtual national library to share digital resources.
Create the Mutualization and Sharing Center (CMP) for Higher Education and Research.
Develop distance education and encourage teaching and research staff to use ICTs.
The main goal of the UVS is to contribute to the development of human capital through a qualifying and efficient training by ICTs for an inclusive economic development of the country.

For admission to L1: Hold a Baccalaureate
For admission to L2: Hold a Bac+1 in a specialty or discipline related to the training requested;
For admission to L3: Hold a Bac+2 in a specialty or discipline related to the training requested;
Prices
Total annual cost: 400,000 CFA francs
Payment in 3 installments:
1st tranche (registration fees, to be paid at the time of registration): 200,000 CFA francs
2nd installment: 100,000 CFA francs (to be paid 3 months after the start of the training)
3rd installment: 100,000 CFA francs (to be paid 6 months after the start of the training)

Conditions of admission
For admission to M1: Hold a Bac+3 (license or equivalent) in a specialty or discipline related to the training requested + Have a good academic record.
For admission to M2: Hold a Bac+4 (M1 or equivalent) in a specialty or discipline related to the training requested + Have a good academic record.
Prices
Total annual cost: 500,000 FCFA
Payment in 3 installments:
1st installment (registration fees): 250,000 CFA francs
2nd installment: 125,000 CFA francs (to be paid 3 months after the start of the training)
3rd tranche: 125,000 CFA francs (to be paid 6 months after the start of the training)

- Be at least 18 years old;
- Hold a national education diploma;
- Have a good knowledge of the French language (written and spoken);

- Total annual cost: 200,000 CFA francs
- Payment in 3 installments:
- 1st tranche (registration fees): 100,000 CFA francs
- 2nd installment: 50,000 CFA francs (to be paid 3 months after the start of the training)
- 3rd tranche: 50,000 CFA francs (to be paid 6 months after the start of the training)
