Kalemie University is a public university in the Democratic Republic of the Congo,
located in Katanga province, Tanganika district, Kalemie city. When it was created, it was an “Extension of the University of Lubumbashi” and was then called “Kalemie University Center”. It has nearly students in six faculties. Its rector is Adalbert Sango Mukalay, who succeeds Alexandrine Kisimba Kya Ngoy from March 11, 2016. Her language of instruction is French. History The university is created as “Kalemie University Center”, an extension of the university from Lubumbashi.
