The Evangelical University of El Salvador (UEES) was founded in 1981, as a private, non-profit public utility corporation and to this day maintains its institutional nature, considering that it is the organization that best responds to its Vision, Mission and commitment to God and humanity. society.
The Evangelical University was founded by a group of evangelical Christian men, professionals, entrepreneurs, businessmen, members of different churches and evangelical denominations, mainly from the Baptist Churches, Assemblies of God and the Central American Mission, who guided by the Lord Jesus Christ , set out to contribute to the solution of the problem of higher education, in the context of the prevailing economic and social situation in El Salvador at the beginning of the decade and that devastated our country for more than ten years.
