Temuco Catholic University Admission Requirements
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:
Those people who meet one of the following requirements will have the right to apply through the centralized admission route to the Universidad Católica del Norte:

- Have an average score of 458 points or more, between the Mathematical Competence (M1) and Reading Competence tests, with the exception of applications for Pedagogy careers, where a minimum average score is not required but compliance with one of the first two requirements to access pedagogy careers indicated in the thirty-sixth transitional article of Law No. 20,903 (modified by Law No. 21,490 of 2022), indicated below.
- Have a high school grade average that places them within the top 10% of their class, in their educational establishment.
Months of the date of application. Usually, a combined minimum verbal, quantitative and analytical score of 1500 is required.
HOW IS THE REGULAR ADMISSION PROCESS CARRIED OUT?
In the regular Admission Process , those interested in applying for the first year of any of the undergraduate programs must:
- Register, within the established deadlines, to take the university admission test, meeting the requested requirements.
- Take the mandatory university admission tests and at least one elective.
- Meet the application requirements of the programs of your interest.
- Apply, within the publicly established deadlines, to the careers and universities attached to the System.
GRADUATES OR GRADUATES
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a graduation grade equal to or greater than 5.0 (five point zero).
- Have obtained a degree from a higher education institution recognized by the State.
DOCUMENTS TO APPLY:
- Certificate of title/degree from the institution from which you graduated, must be legalized before a notary.
- Concentration of Grades leading to the title/degree from the institution of origin from which the student graduated. It must be legalized before a notary.
- Approved course programs must be presented if course validation is requested. The study programs must be legalized by the institution of origin.
- Photocopy of Identity Card or Passport.
- Certificate of PSU, PDT or PAES scores, regardless of the year in which the test was taken, the scores must be above the minimum weighted scores requested to make an application.
Applicants to the Law degree and careers at the Faculty of Education must present their PSU, PDT or PAES score certificate.
If you are a foreigner, the documents described above must be translated into Spanish.

ARTICULATION SCHOLARSHIP
COVERAGE: Up to $750,000 of the annual tuition fee for students who graduated or have technical degrees, 2 years prior to the admission process.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
COVERAGE: Annual tuition fee up to $1,150,000, for the 10% of the best high school graduates from your establishment, in the same year of registration for the scholarship. They must enter Higher Education the year after finishing their Secondary Education.
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP
COVERAGE: Up to $900,000 of the annual reference fee for the race
