Staff Development Institute SDI
The Staff Development Institute (SDI) https://www.sdi.ac.mw/ is a local training, consulting and research government institution based at Mpemba, in Blantyre, Malawi. Established in 1962 as a civil service training institution, SDI forms the training arm of the Malawi Civil Service. SDI is administratively placed under the Department of Human Resource Management and Development in the Office of the President and Cabinet. Over the years, it has evolved from being a purely civil servants’ training institution to one that caters for both public and private sector organizations. Although it is a Government Institution, it has general autonomy over its day to day operations.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE A CREDIT IN ENGLISH.
THE FEES FOR ICM COURSES DON’T INCLUDE EXAMINATION FEES.
