RULE is ranked as one of the top universities in Cambodia. RULE became a public administrative institution by Sub-decree No. 89 ANK/BK dated July 27, 2007.

RULE currently has four faculties (the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Public Administration, the Faculty of Economics and Management, and the Faculty of Informatic Economics), the Graduate Program has three centers (the Center of Law Research, the Center of Economics Research, and the Research and Education Center for Japanese law), and the English Language Institute.

Royal University of Law and Economics Required Documents

In order to ensure the process of selecting students for admission to the Royal University of Law and Economics with transparency, equity, quality, competence and in accordance with the Prakas on the regulations for admission of students to higher education institutions, the university has set the recruitment policy. The content is as follows:

Article 1

This policy aims to ensure the recruitment of students to study at all skill levels currently training at the CES with transparency and quality.

Article 2

This policy aims to determine the conditions for the selection of undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Royal Thai Academy of Sciences.

Article 3

This principle applies to students of the ARVN.

Article 4

Admission to the basic school year (first year)

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, while candidates with a high school diploma before 2002 must pass a selection exam.

Scholarship students are selected by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports

Paid students are recruited by the Royal Thai Academy of Sciences.

Article 5

Undergraduate study (2nd, 3rd and 4th year)

Applicants must have a certificate of basic school year or equivalent degree (officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports)

Students can continue their studies in the following year only if their average annual grade point average (GPA) is equal to or greater than 2.00.

Article 6

1. For the first year study

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports) in accordance with their major. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (wrong major) and an associate’s degree (right major) can enroll in the first year, while candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (wrong major) must be prepared. One course (4 months) can only be continued in the first year.

Candidates must pass a selection exam.

2. For continuing study in the second year

Students can continue their studies in the second year only if they have a GPA of 2.50 or higher and no grade point average below 60/100.

Article 7

The enrollment period does not exceed 30 days from the date of registration.

Article 8

For undergraduate students, students can transfer from other higher education institutions in the second and third year (must study some subjects according to the specialization), while fourth year students are not allowed to transfer.

The transfer of students to study or accept students from universities abroad depends on the agreement between those universities and the CCHR.

Article 9

Studying for a Foreign Language

Applicants must have a certificate of basic education, a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree or a master’s degree or a doctorate or equivalent degree (officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports).

Students must pass a selection exam.

Students have to complete an application form for admission, personal data and relevant documents and submit to the Division of Academic Affairs for evaluation.
