The Admissions Department monitors students’ progress throughout their programme of study by preparing, maintaining and analysing data captured from students’ records.
Some functions of the Admissions Office include:
- 1. Register students for external exams (CSEC and CAPE examination)
- 2. Issue CSEC/Cape Exam timetables
- 3. Collect all registration documents
- 4. Advise students about Redo/ Resit procedures
- 5. Completion/Exemption/Matriculation/ Re-Alignment request
- 6. Transcript request
- 7. Issue progress reports
- 8. Status letter request
- 9. Grade query issues and follow up
Associate Degree:
A minimum of five (5) CSEC or GCE O’level including English A and Mathematics.
Bachelor’s Degree:
Applicant must possess an Associate degree issued by the CCCJ. It should be noted that the qualifying degree must be in an area relevant to the intended programme of study.
CAPE:
CAPE applicants are required to have a minimum of five (5) CSEC including English A and Mathematics. Applicants are also required to have the CSEC subject equivalent to CAPE subject of choice.
CSEC:
Students are required to have at least completed Grade 11. No other academic entry requirements needed.
