General Admissions Information(Graduate Programs)

Eligibility Criteria

Admission on Open Merit: All the admissions of eligible applicants shall be made on open inter-se-merit determined on the basis of entry test and interview.

The Institute shall admit students in Four-Year degree programs according to the schedule advertised in the leading national newspapers, and on the website of the Institute.

The Institute shall not accept any admission form after the due date fixed for the purpose.

Applicants with50% marks (550/1100) in Intermediate or equivalent or passing grades in eight subjects (including compulsory subjects) of ‘O Level’ and minimum three main subjects (no subsidiary) of ‘A Level’ only are eligible to apply for admission..

It is mandatory for ‘A Level’ students to provide (IBCC) Equivalence Certificate. However, if at the time of admission student’s ‘A’ Level result is not declared, the ‘O’ Level Equivalence Certificate must be attached with the admission application. Read More

Students awaiting results are also eligible to apply for provisional admission.

The candidates from Punjab will appear in PIFD Main Campus, Lahore.

The Candidates from other provinces will appear in the centers set up by PIFD at Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

Admisson Form can be downloaded from PIFD website www.pifd.edu.pk. The candidates applying throug downloaded forms will submit their applications along with the Cash /Proof of online payment of Rs. 1700/- in A/C # 50397000268851 (HBL, Expo Centre Branch, Johar Town, Lahore).

Graduate Program Admission:

Complete the Admission Application packet and submit by hand or by post to the Registrar’s office along with a fee of Rs. 1500 cash or by post Rs. 1700 Bank Draft in the name of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design by the last date for application submission 15th December, 2021. The Admission form and Program Brochure can be downloaded online at www.pifd.edu.pk. [Candidates should submit their applications along with proof of online/cash payments of Rs. 1700/- for their application fee into A/c # 50397000268851 (HBL, Expo Center Branch, Lahore.)

Appear for a mandatory Admission Entry Test at PIFD on 19th December, 2021 .

3. Appear for a mandatory Interview at PIFD, if qualified, on 23rd December, 2021 .

*Applicants who have already taken the GAT- General / GRE conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) and have obtained a minimum 50% cumulative score will be exempt from the Admission Entry Test. Please note that these scores are valid for a period of two years only. However, such applicants must provide proof of original result with valid dates in the Admission Application packet in order to be considered for admission review.
