Open University Libya (الجامعة المفتوحة)
The Open University Libya is a public university affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It was established in 1987. It is a member of the Federation of Arab and European Universities, the Federation of Universities of the Islamic World, and a member of the Arab Network for Open Education and Distance Education.

Open University Libya (الجامعة المفتوحة) Tuition Fees
The student pays a quarterly subscription fee of (250) Libyan dinars at the start of his registration at the university and when he renews his registration for another semester, and in both cases it is not permissible to recover it.
The student pays a participation fee of (150) Libyan dinars for each course registered in it, and it may not be withdrawn.
The university may allow a student whose registration has been suspended due to force majeure to benefit from the fees paid as fees for the semester following the suspension of registration.
The student pays a subscription fee of (800) Libyan dinars each semester in which the research (first track) is registered as a registration fee and may not be returned.
The student pays a subscription fee of (1700) Libyan dinars for each semester registered in the thesis (the third track), and it does not exceed two semesters as registration fees and may not be returned.
Open University Libya (الجامعة المفتوحة) Admission & Required Documents
- The student fills in the university admission form prepared at the registration office, in which he identifies the department of his choice.
- A certificate of the student’s academic level approved by the competent authorities.
- Birth and residence certificates, and a copy of page 4 of the family booklet.
- A copy of the passport for non-Libyans.
- A written pledge of responsibility and spending for non-Libyans.
- 6 recent photographs.
- A letter from the employer stating no objection to continue studying at the university.
