Admission Requirements:

Applicants must:

  • Have, or be in the process of acquiring, a New Brunswick High School Diploma or equivalent
  • For out-of-province applicants with, or working towards a High School Diploma (or equivalent); the high school transcript must be recognized by the government of a Canadian province, by the New Brunswick Department of Education, and/or by the country of origin.  NOTE:  some applications may need to be evaluated and assessed to meet recognized New Brunswick Department of Education requirements as requested by NBCC Admissions
  • Successfully complete (or in the process of completing) the pre-requisite course(s) set according to the program admission profile requirements
  • Submission of official transcripts and/or other official documents.  NOTE:  for transcripts indicated with courses taken at a modified level, your application will be transferred to Special Admissions where applicable and assessed accordingly.  Visit Special Admissions for more information, deadlines to apply, and programs that qualify – not all programs qualify.
  • Transcripts submitted in a language other than English (or French) require an official document translated by a certified translator & attached to the application

Applicants may be required to:

  • submit a satisfactory medical and immunization report
  • submit proof that the applicant will turn 18 during the first year of registration (for the Academic Studies Program)
  • participate in information, orientation, interview, or testing sessions
  • successfully complete, at the required level, a written and spoken second-language proficiency test
  • submit the results of a criminal record check through the Canadian Police Information Centre
