National Institute of Education (Cambodia)

The National Institute of Education Development Plan was prepared by the Education Planning and Management Committee and supported by the Coordinating Committee and the Management Committee of the National Institute of Education. The plan began in July 2009 and was completed in November 2010. 

In order to prepare this important plan, the Commission has spent a lot of time analyzing

the current situation of the National Institute of Education, considering the development of a vision for the Institute and adapting it to the goals of the Royal Government of Cambodia as well as the Ministry. Education, youth and sports as well. 

The Commission then developed 29 key strategies to implement for the

future development of the National Institute of Education. 

The development process of this plan is based on the principle of participation and consultation. Each decision has been made in consultation with officials, professors, teachers, students of the National Institute of Education and other stakeholders. All the ideas, opinions and suggestions raised were incorporated into the final draft plan through various technical team meetings and consultative workshops. The basic principles of this plan show the ownership, ensuring the progress of management officers and professors that may occur in the future in the implementation of this plan. 

This plan document summarizes the current situation and the expectation that the National Institute of Education will be as prosperous as other regional educational institutions in the future.

The development plan outlines the vision, mission and strategy to implement it effectively, which requires commitment and hard work. This plan requires the preparation of an annual action plan for the orientation of activities, as well as a tool for assessing and reporting progress to stakeholders. 

The management, officials and professors of the National Institute of Education hope that all stakeholders will actively participate in the implementation of the development plan of the National Institute of Education. The National Institute of Education strongly hopes to receive support by all stakeholders to ensure that the National Institute of Education “is recognized as a leading institution in the training of researchers, educators, teachers at the senior level. “Leaders and managers in the field of education.”

The development plan of the National Institute of Education has undergone a complete study, research, monitoring and evaluation of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and obstacles facing today.

National Institute of Education Required Documents

For Higher Level Teacher Training Program (Bachelor + 1), Student teachers will be required to pass the exam only if they have a GPA of 50 or higher (GPA 2.00). If any pedagogical student scores below the average, he / she will be declared “failed” and will be issued with a graduation certificate without issuing a higher education teacher’s degree. Work in the channel of your choice and be evaluated by the relevant units and specialized subject instructors of the National Institute of Education just to get a higher education teacher’s degree. Accompanied by the next training session. 

For Higher Level Teacher Training Program (Bachelor + 2), Student teachers will be declared eligible to take the exam only if they have a grade point average of 65.00% or GPA of 2.50 or higher in each subject. For the exit exam, the pedagogical students who passed the exam were defined using the word Satisfied (S = Satisfied), while the pedagogical students who failed the exam were defined using the word Satisfied (U = Unsatisfied). Student teachers who meet all the requirements of the National Institute of Higher Education Teacher Training Program (Bachelor + 2) will receive a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Teacher Training.
