Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources LUANAR

Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources is the third public University in Malawi.
The University has two main colleges, Bunda College of Agriculture and the Natural Resources College.
In order to widen access to higher education in the country, the University established a campus in the city of Lilongwe known as City Campus, which is under Bunda College of Agriculture as well as the Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL), with centers in Blantyre, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

The mission of the university aims to advance knowledge and produce relevant graduates with entrepreneurship skills for agricultural growth, food security, wealth creation and sustainable natural resources management, through teaching, training, research, outreach, consultancy and sound management.

Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources LUANAR – Admission

Admission and Requirements:  Diploma entry type requires: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), IGCSE ‘O’ level or its equivalent with credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science (or General Science) OR at least 3 passes with grade “C” in Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry at A-Level or any comparable qualification.

Bachelors (Generic) entry type require: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or IGCSE ‘O’ level or its equivalent with at least six (6) credits including English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science (or General Science) OR at least 3 passes with grade “C” in Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry at A-Level or any comparable qualification.

Bachelors (Mature) entry type require: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or IGCSE ‘O’ level or its equivalent with at least four (4) credit passes including English, Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science (or General Science) OR at least 3 passes with grade “C” in Biology, Mathematics and Chemistry at A-Level or any comparable qualification.; And a relevant diploma obtained from an accredited institution of higher learning; And a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-diploma work experience.
