Laguna University Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements for new students:

Laguna University shall admit students of good moral character, those who comply with the required school credentials, and those who are willing to abide with the University established guidelines.

Scoring and Interpretation of LU Admission Test (LUAT) shall be facilitated by the Admissions Office. LUAT is a screening tool used by the University for entering collegiate program students.

The requirements for admission are the following:

a. Applicant shall accomplish the LUAT Application Form (LU:AA-FO-97) and pass the Laguna University Admission Test (LUAT). Application fee is covered by Republic Act 10931, known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.

b. Applicant shall comply with the following admission requirements:

  • Original Copy of Form 138 (High School Card)
  • Original Copy of Form 137-A (Permanent Record)
  • Original Copy of Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the HS principal/Guidance Counselor
  • Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
  • For Female married applicant, submit photocopy of PSA authenticated Marriage Contract
  • Two pieces passport size pictures with nametag

c. In cases where grades are not yet available, a notarized Affidavit of Undertaking (LU:AA-FO-67) shall be submitted by the student prior to enrollment. Admission or transfer credentials shall be submitted within the semester. Otherwise, enrollment in the succeeding term will not be permitted.

d. Applicant shall meet the following requirements for board programs i.e. Accountancy, Education, Mechanical Engineering, and Midwifery.

Laguna University Scholarship

  • Scholarship for Dependents OWWA

A scholarship grant to qualified dependents of OFWs consisting of a maximum of Php 60,000.00 per school year until the completion of baccalaureate course (4-5 years). For incoming freshmen, the selection of scholars is determined through the DOST national examinations.
