Academic Calendar: Spring semester (January – April); Summer semester (May-August); Fall semester (September-December)
Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:
- The student must have at least 12 years of schooling.
- O Level or Equivalent:
- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with Minimum grade B, and English with minimum grade C
- A Level or Equivalent:
- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with Minimum grade B
- If the transcript provides both grade and marks, then the grades will be considered and marks will be ignored. If the transcript shows only marks, only then marks will be converted into grades according to the following table

O/A level or equivalent: A/A*; B; C;
Grade Point: 5.00; 4.00; 3.50;
Graduate (Master’s) and Doctoral Degree Admission Requirements:
Doctor of Philosophy
- MSc in relevant field or Equivalent
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 3.0 (out of 5.0) in both MSc and BSc degree
Master of Science/Engineering
- BSc in relevant field or Equivalent
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 3.0 (out of 5.0) in the BSc degree

Islamic University of Technology Scholarship
BSc Engineering Programmes
- Full OIC scholarships for BSc Engineering programmes are only for nominated International candidates.
- International candidates without nomination will not get the full OIC scholarship.
- 40 full OIC scholarships are awarded for the international students for the following programmes:
Scholarship for MSc Engineering / PhD Programmes:
- One full-time PhD student in each department per year will receive 100% tuition waiver. (Among the international and host country admitted students)
- Two full-time MSc students in each department per year will receive 100% tuition waiver. (Among the international and host country admitted students)
