The Higher Institute of Technical Education <<ISET>> was created by the will of the population of Rumonge Commune, Rumonge Province under the auspices of the Association for the Progress of Education APPEDU in acronym.
ISET has come to respond to numerous requests from parents and students who have for a number of years aspired to have an institution of higher education in Rumonge or in the outskirts. This is how APPEDU, which has set itself the objective of promoting education in this particular Province, felt challenged.
The idea of ​​creating this higher education institution dates back to 2004 when the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) based in Saudi Arabia established partnership relations with APPEDU Rumonge.
In 2006, the IDB marked its agreement for the construction of a two-storey school building for the association and in 2007, the idea of ​​creating ISET materialized through the preparations and steps relating thereto and the first construction works.
