Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:
General Requirements:
- SSC, HSC, and Equivalent:
- Aggregate GPA of 7.0 in secondary and higher secondary levels.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00 in each exam.
- O Level, A Level, and Equivalent:
- At least 5 subjects in O Level with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- At least 2 subjects in A Level with a minimum GPA of 2.00.
- Other Equivalent Degrees:
- International Baccalaureate or US High School Diploma.
- Other 12-year equivalent degrees must have an equivalence certificate from the Ministry of Education.
Subject-Specific Requirements:
- Engineering:
- Math and Physics in O Level.
- Math and Physics with a minimum grade of B in HSC.
- Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology:
- Applicants must have Biology in HSC or O-Level with a minimum grade of B.
- Environmental Science:
- Applicants with Chemistry/Physics in HSC or O Level will get preference.
- Pharmacy:
- Aggregate GPA of at least 8.00 across both SSC and HSC exams.
- Minimum GPA of 3.50 in each SSC and HSC.
- Minimum GPA of 4.00 in Chemistry and Biology in both SSC and HSC.
- Minimum GPA of 3.50 in Physics and Mathematics in HSC.
- For A-Level and O-Level candidates, ‘B’ grade in Chemistry and Biology, and ‘C’ grade in Mathematics and Physics.
- Completion of a 12-year education with equivalent grades from recognized foreign institutions.
- For candidates lacking Mathematics in HSC, A Level, or its equivalent, completion of an additional 3-credit Mathematics course relevant to the B. Pharm curriculum is required.
Graduate (Master’s) and Doctoral Degree Admission Requirements:

- Educational Qualifications:
- Three-year Bachelor Degree from a reputed university with at least one year of work experience. OR
- Four-year Bachelor Degree from a reputed university. Some work experience after graduation in a managerial/executive position is preferable, but not essential.
- Academic Performance:
- CGPA of at least 2.50 at the undergraduate or graduate level with no 3rd Division/Class in any previous public examination.
- Admission Test:
- Acceptable score in the IUB Admission Test or a score of 500 in GMAT.
EMBA Admission Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- A three-year Bachelor Degree with a Master’s degree or a Four-year Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
- Academic Performance:
- At least Second Class in all exams or a minimum CGPA of 2.50 on a 4-point scale.
- Work Experience:
- At least one year of work experience.
- Candidates with a two-year Bachelor Degree will require eight years of executive experience to be eligible for admission.
