a. Admission to the College is open to qualified, interested and deserving students. Admission to all courses is determined by the result of the placement test & individual interview.
 b. Enrollment in this institution means direct willingness to abide by all the rules and regulations set forth in this students’ handbook. All students therefore should be committed to the observance of these rules.
c. The College reserves the right to whom to admit in accordance to its academic freedom as well as with other existing rules and regulations governing Private Schools.

     c. International Students

  1. Immigration Requirements: i. Non-Filipino applicants must comply with immigration requirements from the Republic of the Philippines. ii. A valid passport and a student visa must be presented. iii. International students must secure a Permit and Certification of Eligibility for admission to college from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Only upon submission of this requirement may they proceed with the admission process.
  2. Documents Required for Student Visa:
    • Notice of Acceptance (NOA) from Claret College of Isabela.
    • Letters from the School Registrar requesting issuance of a 9(f) student visa to the applicant, addressed to: The Director, Visa Division, Office of Consular Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs.
    • Transcript of Records/Scholastic records, authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence.
    • A notarized Affidavit of Support and proof of adequate financial support to cover study-related expenses. For scholars, a certificate of scholarship from the institution concerned.
    • A photocopy of Passport pages where name, photo, birth date, and birthplace appear.
    • Police Clearance issued by the national police authorities in the student’s country of origin or legal residence, authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post.
    • Medical Health Certificate issued by an authorized physician, including a standard-size chest x-ray.
  3. Submission Deadlines:
    • To allow sufficient time to process applications, international students are strongly urged to submit the required forms and documents to the Admissions Office before the following dates:
      • January 15 – for enrollment in the 1st semester
      • June 30 – for enrollment in the 2nd semester
      • September 15 – for summer enrollment

     d. Returnees

            i. A student who dropped out for reasons other than disciplinary & academic problems may be re-admitted.
            ii. A student who has been absent from school for 1 year shall undergo an interview with the Dean and Chairperson.
            iii. A student who has been absent from school for 2-4 years shall comply with the following:
                   Interview with the Dean and Chairperson
                   Recent police clearance
                   Recent drug Test
                   Placement test for all students of all courses

   e. Old Students

         i. Copy of previous semester’s grades
         ii. ID card for validation purposes
         iii. Students are allowed to stay in the School for as long as they are officially enrolled

3. Changing, Adding, and Dropping of Subjects

      a. Request for adding/changing/dropping of subjects is permitted within the first two weeks of the semester or the first two days during summer
         i. conflict of schedule
         ii. change of course
         iii. cutting down on the number of units, employment and other reasons provided that the Chairperson approves.
     b. Students who fail to officially drop the subject within the specified time will be given a mark of FD (Failed due to Absences)
     c. The dropping / adding form must be signed by the following:
          i. Subject Teacher
         ii. Chairperson / Dean
         iii. Registrar
         iv. Accountant

  • Scholarship for Dependents OWWA

A scholarship grant to qualified dependents of OFWs consisting of a maximum of Php 60,000.00 per school year until the completion of baccalaureate course (4-5 years). For incoming freshmen, the selection of scholars is determined through the DOST national examinations.
