Casa College was established in 1997 as an expected continuation of KASA High School which was founded in 1961, by Mr. Christos Saveriades, who firmly believed that education should be a privilege for everyone. Casa College is medium-sized, privately-owned College operating out of two very centrally located campuses in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. Today, Casa College boasts a multicultural student body with international students coming from all corners of the world. With a student-centred approach, its highly qualified faculty and administrative staff support and guide students through their college years, further solidifying its place as an experienced and quality education provider.
Last year our educational organisation celebrated 60 years in education. 60 years of excellence, 60 years of contribution, 60 years of memories. Throughout its history our organisation has evolved and adjusted either as a result of displacement due to conflict, either due to global or local financial crisis or simply to meet the demands of tech savvy students who consider themselves citizens of the world. Every time the flexibility and resilience displayed by our organisation paid true homage to its heritage making both staff, students and alumni proud to be a part of such a historic and strong community
In 2022, Casa College continued its evolution through its educational journey by forming an academic partnership with the University of Northampton from the United Kingdom. This academic partnership not only added value to our organisation but it also enabled us to expand our disciplines into the financial sector, which is part of a long-term strategic plan that is coming to fruition. We are beyond proud that Casa College is able to offer the prestigious British education in Cyprus at a more approachable cost but without compromising quality.
Casa College offers 4-year bachelor degrees and 1-year certificates. In addition, through its academic partnership with the University of Northampton it offers both 3-year bachelor degrees and 1-year master’s degrees.
In 2017, Casa College was approved by the British Council in Cyprus to become an IELTS Examination Centre. Casa College therefore offers students the opportunity to prepare for the IELTS examination and take the exam in the College premises. Casa College also participates in the Erasmus Programme (European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students). It is a European Union student exchange programme. Erasmus+ is the new programme combining all the current schemes for education of the European Union, training, youth and sport. Our College has been awarded the Erasmus Charter in 2018 and our mobility started on June 1st 2019.

International Admissions
Academic Requirements
- Minimum 50 % on high school leaving certificate.
- Proof of English Language Proficiency.
Accepted English Language Proficiency Tests:
- IGCSE: minimum Grade D
- IELTS: minimum Grade 5
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 70 marks
- Password Test: min. 5
- Anglia Examinations: Intermediate
- Michigan Language Assessment: ECCE(52)
- Cambridge GCE AS Level in English Language: min. C
- University of Cambridge Exams: PET-Preliminary English Test
- Students should have a minimum of 50% on their School Leaving Certificate
Visa Requirements
Students who come from countries that are not members of the European Union need a visa in order to study in Cyprus. For this reason, Casa College submits the visa applications of international students to the Migration Authorities for approval.
1. Application Form
Complete the Application Form and submit it electronically on our website. Make sure you upload all supplementary information and/or documents. Send via email to admissions@casacollege.ac.cy the receipt of paid fees, including the non-refundable application and immigration fee of one hundred and eighty euro (180 €) collectively.
2. Academic Records
- Regular Admission: An English translated and recognised High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma, or equivalent qualifications (GCE O’Levels and/or GCE A’Levels) and transcripts (both must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
- Transfer Admission: based on a transfer evaluation by the Academic Committee and the guidelines of the Ministry of Education
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (see above)
3. Passport Copy
Passport copy with at least a two-year validity, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate of Cyprus in the country of origin.
4. Police Clearance
Non-European Union students must submit a copy of a Police Clearance Certificate (confirming that the applicant has no criminal record) attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate of Cyprus in the country of origin. The validity of this certificate should not exceed six months and must be in English.
5. Bank Letter of Financial Support
An English translated bank letter confirming that the student, the student’s guardian/sponsor or parents has/have the ability to finance the applicant’s studies. This letter should clearly state the applicant’s name and his/her relationship with the sponsor. This must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Notary Public and the Cyprus Embassy or Consulate. The validity of this certificate should not exceed six months.
6. Medical Certificates
A copy of a blood test and chest x-ray. Both documents must be translated in English and attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cyprus Embassy or Consulate. These tests should confirm that the applicant is not infected with:
- HIV 1 & 2 = AIDS
- Hepatitis B & C
- VDRL = Syphilis/Tuberculosis
The validity of these medical tests should not exceed four months.
7. Photographs
Six recent passport-size photographs.

Residence Permit Requirements
Although European Union citizens do not require a visa to study in Cyprus, they are still required to submit an Application for Issue of Residence Permit to the Migration Department. This application must be submitted within three months of the student’s entry to Cyprus along with evidence that their tuition and other fees have been paid. The Application for Issue of Residence Permit must also be supported by evidence that the student has the financial ability to bear his/her living expenses and that he/she has obtained local health insurance.
