Birzeit University
A Palestinian university located in the town of Birzeit, it has played and continues to play a leading role in the political events in Palestine. Birzeit University’s history dates back to 1924 when it was founded as an elementary school by Nabiha Nasser. Since 1982, the university has owned a modern campus, located on the outskirts of Ramallah.
The establishment of Birzeit University with Palestinian hands, minds and resources came in response to the growing demand for higher education in the occupied Palestinian territories. Despite the difficulties and obstacles imposed by the Israeli occupation, which affected all academic, national and individual freedoms, the university was able to find its way to be a source of inspiration and pride for the Palestinian people.

Birzeit University Admission
Applicants must deliver it as a PDF the following documents to the Registration and Admissions Department:
- One photo
- Copy of personal ID
- Certified copy of General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) transcript. Please note that applicants with a score lower than 65 percent will not be accepted.
- Copy of the applicant’s bachelor’s degree certified by the Palestinian Ministry of Education.
- Copy of the applicant’s college transcript certified by the Palestinian Ministry of Education.
