Belize Adventist Junior College Admission Requirements

Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 70%
  • GPA of 70% in Math and English
  • A High School diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above in Math, English, Biology, and Chemistry and 3.0 Cumulatively.
  • Applicants must be candidates for at least five CSEC Exams including the previously named subjects or already possess five (5) or more CSEC passes in said subject areas. Applicants who do not have the requisite CSEC passes can enroll to take the necessary College Level courses as a Transient Student at UB or begin with an Associate in Biology & Chemistry before pursuing the BSc. Nursing degree.
  • Must have earned a minimum grade of “C” or “C+” in the case of the Faculty of Health Sciences programs, to be eligible for course transfers.

Belize Adventist Junior College Admission Requirements for International Students

As you peruse the Guide, you will observe that the University of Belize has four (4) Faculties that deliver multiple disciplines through its program offerings. Once an applicant enters the fourth year of high school, the applicant is eligible to apply to UB. Transfer Students and professionals are also recommended to apply according to the stipulated application deadlines.

The Programs of Study & Requirements Guide provides the preliminary requirements for admission. Applicants are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office at admissions@ub.edu.bz to obtain further information on program requirements as the information outlined on this page are subject to change based on program evaluation and review.

All applications undertake a full-circle evaluation process. Fulfillment of the preliminary requirements does not guarantee admission as this is only one aspect of the evaluation process.

An electronic admission response is provided to the applicant using the email address provided on the application. Admissions responses may take up to 15 business days from the date of submission – Faculty of Health Sciences admission response takes longer.

All programs are open for admission in the August (Fall) Semester but only selected programs are open in the January (Spring) Semester. Program openings are usually posted on the University’s Facebook page and website. In cases where applications are submitted late for the August (Fall) Semester, they are automatically processed for the next Semester that the program is offered. The Faculty of Health Sciences opens for admission in the August Semester only.
