About the university:
Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives (BTEU) is an accredited educational and research center of national and international importance with more than 50-year history. During this time BTEU has trained more than 44 thousand professionals for national economy of the Republic of Belarus as well as for foreign countries.
Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives was established by the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies (Belcoopsoyuz) which is ascertained in the list of state organizations subordinated to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
BTEU has a status of State Institution of Higher Education. The University has a Special permit (license) of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus for performing educational activities.
The University has the Certificate on the state registration as the scientific organization.
Since 2010 the University functions according with the certified Quality Management System of education meeting the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2009. In 2014 the University successfully passed recertification of Quality Management System.
BTEU trains specialists in 14 specialties, including 4 directions of specialties and 22 specializations of the 1st level of education and 19 specialties of the 2nd level of education for students of the following forms of training: full-time course (day-time), full-time course (evening-time), correspondence course (distance education)

Admission and Requirements.
CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION
Applicants entering the full term of higher education of the 1st stage in full-time and part-time forms of education, submit to the University Admissions Committee certificates of centralized testing (hereinafter referred to as CT) in three academic subjects: in the Belarusian or Russian language (optional) and in two academic subjects (hereinafter referred to as profile tests) in accordance with the selected group of specialties (specialty, direction of specialty) (paragraph 16 of the Admission Rules).
Applicants entering for a shortened period of obtaining higher education of the 1st stage on the basis of secondary specialized education for full-time and part-time forms of education, pass two profile tests in the disciplines of the curriculum of the specialty (specialty area) of secondary specialized education, the list and form of which are determined by the Procedure for Admission to University in accordance with the chosen specialty (clause 16 of the Admission Rules).

RECEPTION FEATURES
Admission to the University is carried out on a paid basis in accordance with the admission figures at the expense of consumer cooperation organizations, as well as at the expense of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, individuals or the citizen’s own funds. For higher education of the 1st stage in the full-time form of education at the expense of consumer cooperation organizations, applicants who have a direction of a consumer cooperation organization for training in a specific specialty (specialty area) are entitled to apply.
For higher education of the 1st stage in the correspondence form of education at the expense of consumer cooperation organizations, applicants who have a direction of a consumer cooperation organization for training in a specific specialty (specialty direction) and work in consumer cooperation organizations are eligible to apply.
The algorithm of the competition and enrollment. The competition is held according to the total score, which is added up by summing up the marks indicated in the certificates of centralized testing on a 100-point scale, or the marks obtained by applicants on entrance examinations on a 10-point scale, which are converted into a 100-point scale by multiplying by 10 and the average score document(s) on education, determined on a 10-point scale and converted to a 100-point scale by multiplying it by 10.
Enrollment of applicants in the number of students based on the results of competitive selection is carried out at an open meeting of the selection committee in the manner prescribed by law.
The preferential right to enrollment with an equal total number of points in the order of transfer have:
- persons specified in paragraph 27 of the Admission Rules;
- winners and prize-winners of subject Olympiads of the University; Republican Olympiad of professional skills in the specialty among college students of Belcoopsoyuz;
- applicants who have completed preparatory courses at the University.

- Accommodation in a hostel (per year) – from $ 450;
- Visa for travel to the homeland during the holidays – $35.
Tuition and accommodation costs are reviewed annually before starting the academic year and changes are possible. Tuition and accommodation fees are paid to the university cash office in Belarusian rubles at the rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus on the day of payment.
