- Agree on the payment method for the fee for the 2024 academic year. You will be eligible for a 3% discount for paying the annual fee in cash (until March 31, 2024) via credit or debit card.
- Pay the TNE 2024 (this payment applies to those selected who do not have a university card)
- Sign the PAT agreement and learn about the online PAC option, for the payment of educational fees
- Digitally sign the registration documents (foreign students and those under 18 years of age must follow the special instructions detailed on the platform)
- Attach images of the current identity cards of the student and his Financial Supporter. These will be part of the Contract for the Provision of Educational Services
- Upload the photograph to the Academic Information System.

Adolfo Ibañez University Admission Process
An increase of 20 points in the average PAES score – from 760.5 to 780.2 – was recorded by the Adolfo Ibáñez University in the 2024 Admission process to enter the 18 undergraduate majors and programs taught on the Peñalolén and Viña del Mar campuses, maintaining leadership and academic excellence.
At a general level, 43% of those selected to enter the UAI obtained a weighted score greater than 800 points. Of all future students, 23% come from regions other than the Metropolitan and Region V, reaffirming the preference of a significant number of applicants who choose the institution.
Commercial Engineering, for its part, recorded a cut-off score for the last selected (No. 485) of 752.9 points (Santiago), while the selected No. 150 obtained a weighted score of 817.8 points.
Finally, for the Commercial Engineering career, the teaching approach was repeated as one of the reasons for choosing among future students. Thus, they highlighted that they like the institution’s way of teaching, which highlights the importance of the educational methodology in choosing the University. The prestige and recognition of the UAI, as well as the attraction to the curriculum, were also among the most common responses.
Adolfo Ibañez University Scholarship
To maintain the Pedro Luis González Weighted Score Scholarship for the following year, the beneficiary must meet two copulative requirements, the same for both campuses:
- Approve a minimum of 50 annual credits. Credits that come from complementary, extra-programmatic, approved or validated subjects will not be counted.
- Have a Cumulative Weighted Average Grade (PPA), greater than or equal to the grade per degree detailed below.

- Double Degree in Law – Commercial Engineering: 5.8

- Bachelor of Communication – Strategic Communication or Journalism: 6.1
This average is the one that results from weighting, by their respective credits, the final grades obtained in each of the subjects taken by the student, as part of their study plan.
The calculation of this average will not include the grades of the subjects: Physical Education, extracurricular, approved and validated. Likewise, this average will not consider the grades of the failed subjects when they have subsequently been approved. For detailed information about this calculation, the student must refer to the current Regulations for Bachelor’s and Baccalaureate Degrees.
The academic requirement will only be applicable after the student completes two semesters after entering the University.
