Kathmandu College of Management Scholarship

1. SWANGSRI SIVAKRISKUL JEHENDAR SCHOLARSHIP

With a commitment to attracting the brightest talent for the International BBA program, Kathmandu College of Management has pledged financial support to high achievers from underprivileged backgrounds. Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship Program is a need-based endowment awarded for outstanding academic merit. It covers a full tuition waiver so that students have access to a fulfilling learning environment, with the hope that the scholars will contribute to their communities after they graduate.

Eligibility Criteria

Swangsri Sivakriskul Jehendar Scholarship Program is open to all Nepali citizens. To be eligible for selection the student must have:

• Attained at least 80% marks in Grade 10 from a government school.
• Secured above 75% marks for Grade 12 from any private or public institutions.
• Displayed strong leadership qualities and a good character.
• Admitted to the KCM – Siam University International BBA program.

Priority will be given to applicants from low-income families or marginalized communities.

Application Process

In order to apply for the scholarship program, the student must

• Submit the Scholarship Application Form along with the other admission requirements.
• Write a personal statement explaining why the student deserves to be awarded the scholarship.
• Nominate 2 references (other than family member or relative) who can vouch for the family’s economic status and whom we can contact.

2. KCM MERIT AWARD

Merit scholarship is awarded each year to the 2nd year student who has demonstrated exceptional academic ability in his/her 1st year. The scholarship includes 100% tuition waiver for a year.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• Student must have successfully completed the first year at KCM.
• Student must have obtained the highest grade in the first year.

3. MANISHA MEMORIAL MERIT AWARD

In memory of Manisha Shrestha, (Batch 2005-2009), who unfortunately passed away in tragic traffic collision, KCM initiated the tradition of providing this scholarship from 2009. Manisha Memorial Scholarship recognizes two students from the 3rd year who have shown exceptional academic talent in their 2nd year, one each from the Marketing and Finance & Banking groups. The scholarship includes 100% tuition waiver for a year.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• Students must have successfully completed second year at KCM.
• Students must have obtained the highest grade in the second year.

4. NIRAJAN MEMORIAL MERIT AWARD

In memory of Late Prince Nirajan Bikram Shah (Batch 1998-2001), KCM rewards two outstanding 4th year students who have demonstrated academic excellence during their 3rd year, one from each of the Marketing and Finance & Banking groups. The award includes 100% tuition waiver for a year.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:

• Students must have successfully completed third year at KCM.
• Student must have obtained the highest grade in the third year.

5. MANAGEMENT APPRECIATION AWARD

Each year Management Appreciation Award is conferred to that student who has exhibited great potential in academics and extracurricular activities during his/her years at KCM. The management individually considers the fourth year students during the selection. The award includes 100% tuition waiver for a year.
