College Mathieu Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements:

Read the general admission conditions  and the specific admission conditions  for the study program of your choice. 

• Interview with program coordination;
• High school diploma completed or in the process of obtaining or mature student status;
• Proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent residence. Other statuses may be considered, contact the coordination of the credited programs for this purpose;
• Photo ID
• Cover letter

College Mathieu Admission Requirements for International Students

Admission Requirements:

Start the process without delay , as it can take several months.

Review information  such as general admission requirements and those specific to your program of study, as well as tuition fees and living expenses to be incurred, in order to proceed with your admission. All fees are expressed in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.

Complete the admission application form below according to your choice of program of study and send your support documents quickly. Be sure to pay the admission fee of $250 or $500 (depending on the program) when you submit your application.

Depending on the specific admission conditions of your program, the Collège Mathieu resource person will coordinate with you the taking of the French exam or the case study. 

Upon receipt of the admission letter from the College, you will be required  to pay at least 50% of your tuition fees  to the College. When we receive the payment, we will send you the acceptance letter necessary to  take the steps to obtain your study permit  from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. College Mathieu Scholarship Application

Description of the scholarship

Collège Mathieu establishes 30 scholarships each year for students in the regular Early Childhood Education program for the next three years.

• The annual value of the scholarship is $3,500 and it can be renewed annually depending on the candidate’s academic record.

Admission Criteria

Candidates must be admitted and registered in the early childhood education program, at the certificate or diploma level and meet the following criteria:

• Have Canadian citizenship, permanent residence or refugee status
• Residing in Saskatchewan
• Follow the program’s studies part-time or full-time
• Be within the eligibility period
• Provide a cover letter
• Complete and send the scholarship application form within the prescribed deadlines
• Applicants must have started the first year of study in the early childhood education program and maintain full-time or part-time attendance with attendance of at least 90% and an average of 65%
