University Shendi
Shendi University was established in March 1994 by Republican Decree No. (67) for the year 1994 AD in the Nile River State, and it is a scientific body with a legal personality based in Shendi. It is one of the fruits of the higher education revolution in Sudan. The university is a model for community-oriented universities that rely on solving problems in their curricula. It has many programs such as coordination and integration between medical education and health services, and team formation from faculties of medicine and health sciences, the College of Education for the basic stage, and the College of Community Development.
