UNIVERSITÉ DAKAR-BOURGUIBA
The first private university in Senegal, the UDB is a private, secular and apolitical higher education institution enjoying legal personality and financial autonomy.
It was created in 1995 by the eminent Professor Sakhir THIAM, Associate of Mathematics from the University of Paris, Doctor of State in Mathematical Sciences and Doctor of State in Theoretical Economics from the Universities of Paris VI and Paris IX Dauphine, Man of Arts and Letters. Anxious to contribute to the general development of the individual, to certain psychological releases, the UDB integrates the following elements: multidisciplinary professionalized university education and carried out according to three training sessions (winter, spring, summer). Established on an attractive site, the environment of the UDB is green with more floral arrangements.
Dakar Bourguiba University has all the advantages linked to its location in the residential district of Grand Dakar, while being inserted in an area where medium-sized industry and service companies retain their place. The geographical location corresponds to a strategic area from every point of view: a place of establishment of several commercial activities (banks, insurance companies, business offices, oil distribution, telecommunication services), a place of residence with accessible rents for students and a place well served by regular public transport.

The UFR of Languages and Business are issued according to the CAMES system: The License Diploma marks the end of License studies.
The Master’s Degree marks the end of the 5th year specialization studies.
The Doctorate sanctions 3 years of doctoral studies.
Lessons include lessons, tutorials, practical work, projects, internships and professional impregnation workshops.

Administrative admission conditions
License I and License II
The baccalaureate is required
The scientific baccalaureate is required for registration in the UFR of Science and Technology.
To enroll in the 2nd year, you must pass the 1st year at the UDB or have an equivalence on file validated by a scientific jury.
License 3 and Master I
Registration for a License in a UFR is possible for UDB students who have validated their DEUP or for new students who have an equivalence on file validated by a scientific jury.
Similarly, registration for a Master’s degree in a UFR is possible for UDB students who have validated their Bachelor’s degree or for new students who have an equivalence on file validated by a scientific jury.
Master II and Doctorate
Registration for a Master in a UFR is possible for UDB students who have validated their Master’s degree or for new students who have an equivalence on file validated by a scientific jury.
Similarly, registration for a Doctorate in a UFR is possible for UDB students who have validated their Masters or for new students who have an equivalence on file validated by a scientific jury.
