Universidad Organización y Método
The Dominican O&M University is a center of higher studies founded on January 12, 1966 by a select group of professors headed by Dr. José Rafael Abinader. The University is totally private, it is financed with its own resources and is sponsored by the O&M University Foundation.
The O&M, as its students, professors and graduates affectionately call it, arises in a period of uncertainty and difficulties in the Dominican Republic. It began by teaching short-term courses and careers at a technical level in the areas of accounting, administration, economics, marketing, sales and computing. Its enrollment was minimal, about 18 students enrolled in its first technical career, but the academic excellence shown from its beginnings caused rapid growth.
Upon reaching its 50th anniversary on January 12, 2016, the O&M, with some forty-six thousand students, is a fundamental part of university education in our country, being the alma mater of more than fifty thousand graduates in the different branches of knowledge. The favorable reception that O&M has had is a reflection, among several factors, of its quality in teaching, the relevance of its academic programs and the seriousness and responsibility it has shown throughout its existence.

Documents required for registration of degrees
– Legalized birth
certificate – High school diploma or equivalent document issued or authorized by the Ministry of Education
– High school
transcript – Medical certificate
– 3 front-facing 2”x2” photographs
– Photocopy of identity card and electoral
All documents must be originals, except where otherwise indicated.
Foreign students, as well as those who have completed secondary studies outside the country, must present the required documents, apostilled and legalized by the corresponding departments. In the event that any document is in a language other than Spanish, a legal translation of it must be attached.
