Universidad Nacional Evangélica
The National Evangelical University (UNEV) was founded on July 30, 1986, in Santiago de los Caballeros, with the aim of facilitating, above all, the evangelical population of the country, a university education based on the principle of equality of education and opportunities for form new men and new women.
The National Evangelical University is a non-profit institution sponsored by the University Evangelical Foundation (FEU) of the Dominican Republic. Since its original proposal before the National Council for Higher Education (CONES) , today the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) , in August 1984, UNEV was conceived to be an excellent university for popular sectors committed to the integral formation of a new man and a new woman.
