Universidad Nacional del Este
The Universidad Nacional del Este was created by Law No. 250, dated October 22, 1993; In this way, the dream of young people from Alto Paraná became a reality. They eagerly wanted to have a public university in the Three Borders area that offered them the possibility of continuing their higher education without the need to leave their homes and thus avoid The exodus.
Thus, the legal creation of the Universidad Nacional del Este took place, but the most important thing was missing, to carry out the provisions of this Law, and for this purpose a Coordinating Commission was formed, made up of: Dr. Gilberto RuÃz Carvallo, for the Faculty of Economic Sciences (coordinator); Ing. Gerónimo Laviosa, from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering; Lic. Genaro Bogado Román, from the Faculty of Philosophy and Lic. Daniel BrÃtez, from the Polytechnic Faculty (members), to carry out the formation of the Directive Bodies of the Universidad Nacional del Este.

Universidad Nacional del Este Admission
- Original of the Certificate of Studies or Analytical of the Middle Level duly homologated and legalized by the Ministry of Education and Sciences; and the Rectorate of the Universidad Nacional del Este.
- Photocopy authenticated by Public Notary of the Birth Certificate.
- Photocopy authenticated by the Public Notary of the Identity Document and the temporary or permanent residence card for students, issued by the General Directorate of Migration.
For Paraguayan citizens:
- Original of the Certificate of Studies or Analytical of the Middle Level duly homologated and legalized by the Ministry of Education and Sciences; and the Rectorate of the Universidad Nacional del Este.
- Original or copy authenticated by Notary Public of the Birth Certificate.
- Photocopy authenticated by Public Notary of the Civil Identity Card.
