Objectives
- Acquire, transmit and apply scientific and technical knowledge from a systemic, interdisciplinary and participatory approach aimed at solving the country’s environmental problems within the framework of Sustainable Development.
- To train professionals with the highest ethical, technical and scientific training that can achieve broad national and international recognition.
- Raise awareness of the urgent need to have graduates capable of assuming leadership positions in managerial, business and professional roles as a contribution to society for the Sustainable Development of the country and the world.
- Facilitate the technical and scientific tools for the transformation of projects into sustainable economic realities that help the business sector to produce social and economic benefits with due care for ecological factors.
- Transmit practical and theoretical knowledge that generate economically sustainable alternatives for the use of spaces included within ecosystems that must be restored and preserved.
- Maintain an active exchange with institutions in the same field in the national and international sphere specialized in research, teaching and provision of services.
- Lead, through its different Academic Units, the action of interdisciplinary integration and qualification of research work, services and continuing education.

Documents required for registration
For Degree Courses:
- Identity card for national citizens.
- Certificate of study of secondary education or high school, generated by the Administrative and Academic Management System (NAUTILUS) and endorsed by the corresponding Administrative Support and Control Supervision.
- Complete registration application (delivered to the secretariat).
- For foreigners
- In the case of foreign citizens, a photocopy of the identity document and the temporary or permanent residence card for students, issued by the General Directorate of Migration and authenticated by a Paraguayan notary, must be presented.
- In case of having studied abroad, the study or analytical certificate duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For Postgraduate Programs:
- Identity card for national citizens.
- Photocopy authenticated by a notary public of the Bachelor’s Degree, registered and legalized in the MEC
- Photocopy authenticated by a notary’s office of the Certificate of Degree Studies, endorsed and legalized by the MEC
- For foreigners
- In the case of foreign citizens, a photocopy of the identity document and the temporary or permanent residence card for students, issued by the General Directorate of Migration and authenticated by a Paraguayan notary, must be presented.
- For courses taken abroad, the original Bachelor’s Degree and a copy of it authenticated by a notary’s office, endorsed and legalized by the general secretariat of the MEC
- Complete registration application (delivered to the secretariat).
