Salaam University
Salaam University (SU) is one of the most popular Private University which is a non-profit academic institution in Somalia. It is situated in the center of the city Mogadishu, Hodan District with three campuses and founded in 2009 as a school of Medicine and Economic Management Sciences to help train local doctors, health workers, businessmen and administrators.
Later on, SU expanded constantly to strive and create a friendly learning environment with plenty of facilities including: Technologically equipped classrooms, high-tech computer laboratories with internet access, well-stocked library and modern medical labs. The culture and experience of SU is teamwork and collaboration that played an important role in its professional and academic development.

Salaam University Admission and Tuition Fees
Student Fees Payment Policy
Option one: At the beginning of the semester, all semester fees can be paid in full
Option two:At the beginning of the semester, students should pay 30% of semester fees after he/she registers for the class. The second installment 40% of the semester fees should be paid before the midterm exam. The remaining 30% of the semester fees should be paid before the final exam.
After payments of second and third installments, students are eligible to get their clearance cards for midterm and final exams
finance will be responsible to check fees default
SU will not refund any fees paid unless the student has no remaining semester
Students and sponsors who unintentionally or intentionally deposit fees will not be refunded but will be forwarded to the next semesters
Other Fees Payments & Exemptions
Registration fees and other charges should not be exempted from any students
Any student who registers one subject as an independent study (recourse) will be charged to the fee of the total courses taken in the respective semester divided by the number of those courses
Any student who registers more than one subject as the independent study will be charged fees based on total semester fees/number of courses
Any student who sets for re-exam should be charged for each paper
Any student who loses his/her ID card and Clearance card should be charged for replacement.
New students should pay a registration fee of $35 before issuing their admission letters.
Students who request an external transfer document from Admissions and Records should pay transfer fees.
Students will pay graduation fees for convocation and graduation documents (transcript and certificate).
Re-issue of graduation documents will be charged to any correction purpose (such as student’s negligence of misspelled name, changing marks, etc.)
