Omdurman Ahlia University
In 1982, Professor Muhammad Omar Bashir presented the idea of establishing a private university to some personalities from the sons of Omdurman who adopted the idea and worked to implement it, and after several meetings and deliberations, the first founding meeting of the university was held in 1984 AD. The Omdurman National University College was established as a basic nucleus of the university. The study began at the University College on November 1, 1986, in the Malik Schools in Omdurman, then moved to its main buildings in Hamad El-Nile area in 1993, and the college was upgraded to Omdurman National University in 1995, by a decision of the The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with its own university law.
