Nepal Engineering College Scholarship
- Entrance Exam Score Wise Scholarship:
- 100% scholarship for entrance topper. 50% rebate on tuition fee for scores of 80% and above.
- 35% rebate on tuition fee for scores above 70% and below 80%. 15% rebate on tuition fee for scores above 60% and below 70%.
- Program Wise Scholarship:
- BE Electronics & Communication Engineering: 50% scholarship.
- BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 25% scholarship.
- BE Computer Engineering: 15% scholarship.
- BE Civil for Diploma Holders: 10% scholarship.
- Merit Scholarship:
- One merit scholarship awarded per faculty topper for every 48 students in each program per semester.
- Covers full waiver of fees (excluding university fees).
- The topper of the first semester gets the scholarship in the second semester, and so on.
- The topper of the last semester is ineligible as they would have graduated before the announcement.
- Neighbourhood Scholarship:
- Available for Changunarayan’s Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- One full scholarship and two partial scholarships (50% on tuition fee) per neighbourhood ward.
- Similar provisions for Wards 6 and 7 of Kageswori Manohara Municipality.
- Requires a recommendation letter (Original Copy) from the ward office submitted before the entrance test.
