National Open University
The National Open University ( UNA ) is a public university in Venezuela, being the only university institution that is entirely dedicated to distance education. It has more than 67 branches throughout Venezuela, making it one of the largest in the country.
It is a higher education institution aimed at training professionals in priority areas of social development, through an open and distance education system, based on modern means of communication. Its headquarters is located in Caracas, but its radius of action covers the entire Venezuelan territory through Local Centres and Support Offices.

n order to start your studies at the National Open University, it is essential to be a bachelor’s degree and pass the Introductory Course , in which you will be given the necessary guidelines and orientations so that you know the distance education system used in this institution, in addition to giving you to know some activities and techniques so that you start and adapt to the distance study modality
People who want to enter the National Open University to pursue higher level studies come from face-to-face institutions and have little experience in relation to the distance education modality of this university.
The student who aspires to enter the National Open University to pursue professional studies at a distance, must take a previous adaptation course.
The Introductory Course is an orientation strategy, aimed at the student to provide training in independent study, as well as the basic instruments to facilitate their adaptation, contribute to their permanence and contribute to their training and self-discipline within the open and distance system.

Two (2) passport type photographs.
Original and two enlarged copies of Identity Card without cutting and in the center of the page.
Original and two letter-size copies of the Bachelor’s Degree or Certification thereof with their respective tax stamps.
Original and two letter-size copies of the Certificate of Qualifications for Basic, Diversified and Professional Education in updated format and with their respective tax stamps.
IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER
Two (2) passport type photographs.
Original and two copies of Resident Visa.
Original and two copies of Revalidated Bachelor’s Degree.
Original and two copies of Legalized Certification of Qualifications.

GO TO THE LOCAL CENTER OR SUPPORT UNIT CLOSEST TO YOUR RESIDENCE.

Verify in the Study Registration and Control Unit that you meet all the requirements to enter the institution, before paying the corresponding fee at the bank.
Request your identification password to enter the online registration system. You can request your password by sending an email to webunatachira@gmail.com indicating your identity card number, Local Center where you want to enroll, the code of the race you want to take and a contact cell phone number.
Request information about the authorized account numbers and the amount to pay for the initial registration and instructional material, according to the condition in which you register (for the first time or repeating).
For the cancellation of the tariff, transfers from the same bank are allowed.

Fill in the personal information requested by the online registration system.
Fill out the registration form for the Introductory Course indicating the career you want to study, the Local Center or Support Unit of affiliation and register the number of the bank deposit and the amount paid
Print the issued Registration Form, put a photograph on it, sign it, put your contact information (phone number and email) and make 3 copies.
GO TO THE LOCAL CENTER OR SUPPORT UNIT TO FORMALIZE YOUR REGISTRATION WITH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
