Mirpur University of Science & Technology
The Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur was established in 2009 by up-grading Mirpur Campus of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), Muzaffarabad. With the inception of the UAJK in 1980, the College of Engineering and Technology, the College of Home Economics and Institute of Islamic Studies were established as its constituent colleges and institute. The University College of Engineering and Technology and Institute of Islamic Studies were established in the premises of the then Government College for Boys, Mirpur while the University College of Home Economics was established in the premises of the Government College for Girls, Mirpur. The two colleges and the institute continued imparting education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Home Economics and Islamic Studies till 2001 as part of the UAJK.

Master Programs: Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science (MCS), Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology:
Eligibility:
For Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics and Zoology: Must have studied the relevant subject with 200 marks in the last degree (B.Sc./ BS.Ed. or equivalent) and overall with at least 2nd division.
For Mathematics: Must have studied Mathematics with 400 marks in the last degree (B.Sc./ BS.Ed. or equivalent) and overall with at least 2nd division.
For Statistics: Must have passed BA/ BSc/ B.Com/ ADA/ ADS/ ADC (14 years of education) or equivalent with Statistics and at least 45% marks or CGPA 2.50.
Faculty of Social Science & Humanities
Master Programs: Arabic, Economics, Education, English and Islamic Studies:
Eligibility:-
For Arabic, Economics, English and Islamic Studies: Must have studied the relevant subject with 200 marks in the last degree (14 years of education) and overall at least 2nd division or with CGPA 2.5/4.0.
For Education: Must have passed BA/ B.Sc./ BS Commerce/ ADE/ ADS/ ADA or equivalent with at least 2nd division or with CGPA 2.5/4.0.
Teacher Training Programs:
Eligibility:-
For B.Ed. Elementary (2.5 years), after 14 Years of Education: Must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./ ADE/ ADS/ ADA or equivalent with at least 2nd division or CGPA 2.5/4.0.
MUST Business School
Master Programs: MBA (3.5 Years), MBA (2 Years Executive), MBA (1.5 Years) and M.Com (2 Years):
Eligibility:-
For MBA (3.5 years): Must have passed BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com/ ADP’S or equivalent with at least 2nd division or CGPA 2.5/4.0.
For MBA (2 years Executive (Evening)): Must have passed BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com/ ADP’S (14 years of education) or equivalent with at least 2nd division or CGPA 2.5/4.0 and having 4 years’ experience or 16 years education with 2years experience at administrative/ Industry level.
For MBA (1.5 years (Evening)): Must have passed BBA/ B.Com (4 years) with at least 2nd division or CGPA 2.5/4.0. For M.Com (2 years): Must have passed B.Com (2 years)/ ADC with at least 2nd division or CGPA 2.5/4.0
