Admission Requirements for Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Degree Programs:
- High School Diploma:
- Submit a copy of the high school diploma according to international exam and diploma types at the online application.
- If the diploma is absent, provide a temporary graduation certificate along with certificates documenting GPAs per year and optionally exam scores such as SAT. Notarized English or Turkish translations of documents in languages other than English must be uploaded.
- Transcript:
- Provide a copy of the latest transcript listing taught courses for each academic year.
- Passport:
- Submit a copy of the ID page of a valid passport.

- Undergraduate students seeking to transfer to Maltepe University should follow the same application procedures and submit their applications at the time of admissions.
Admission Requirements for Graduate (Master’s) Degree Programs:
- Bachelor Diploma:
- If applying for a master’s or PhD program, upload a copy of the graduate or bachelor diploma.
- If diplomas are in a language other than English, submit apostilled and notarized Turkish translations of the bachelor diploma at the online application.
- Transcript:
- If applying for a master’s or PhD program, submit notarized Turkish or English translations of transcripts if they are in a language other than Turkish or English.
- Passport:
- Submit a notarized copy of a valid passport.
- Language Test:
- For graduate programs with English instruction, acceptable tests and their minimum scores and validity periods are:
- YDS/YOKDİL: 55 points, valid for 5 years from the exam date.
- TOEFL iBT: 66 points, valid for 2 years from the exam date.
- PTE Academic: 60 points, valid for 2 years from the exam date.
- For Turkish instruction programs, submit a Turkish Proficiency Certificate from Turkish and Foreign Languages Research and Application Center (TÖMER) with a minimum accepted score of B2.
- Applicants who don’t meet these criteria can take the TÖMER exam at Maltepe University. Those without the certificate can take Turkish courses in their first year of study.
- Graduates from Turkish degree programs in Turkey applying for Turkish instruction programs are exempt from submitting the TÖMER score.
- For graduate programs with English instruction, acceptable tests and their minimum scores and validity periods are:
- Letter of Intention:
- Submit a letter explaining academic background, achievements, academic & research interests, and purpose of pursuing a degree in the applied master’s/PhD program.
