Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak was established in 2012. The university has been a dream of the populace, realized in the form of this University, named after the legendary Khushal Khan Khattak. The University provisionally started functioning in the old building, previously occupied by the revenue academy. The building of revenue academy was in deplorable condition, which has been renovated by spending a huge amount.
Site for the construction of the University campus near Jail Chowk Karak, is finalized. At present thirteen departments have been started in the campus namely, Department of Education & Research, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences & Bioinformatics, Media & Communication Studies, Library & Information Sciences, English, Geology and Physics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Psychology and Mathematics.

Khushal Khan Khattak University Required Documents
- Documents To Be Attached With Application Form:
- Applicant CNIC or Form-B.
- Applicant’s Father / Guardian CNIC.
- Applicant fee slip of current semester.
- Educational record (DMC of last examination passed, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) & DMC, Intermediate DMC & Certificate.
- Father /Mother/Guardian Income Certificates on stamp paper in case of non-Government employee.
- Father /Mother/Guardian Salary Slip in case of Government employee.
- Last month utility bill (Electricity, Gas, Water, Telephone)
- Last six month medical bills (if any).
- Siblings’ recent monthly fee deposit slip.
- Statement of purpose (Explain the suitability for the subject scholarship).
- The duly filled application form with all supporting documents should be submitted to Students Financial Aid office (SFAO) on or before the deadline.
