KASB Institute of Technology Required Documents
(ADP) in Commerce is 2 years program comprises of 22 courses with 66 Credit Hours. The
program based on 4 semesters of 05 months each. The intake is twice a year, with a maximum
course load of 06 per semester.
Eligibility:
For admission in (ADP) in Commerce the applicants must pass in Intermediate or A-Level with
minimum two C’s (excluding General paper & Urdu) or equivalent, high school of diploma
recognized by the Sindh board.
The applicant has to take an Institute based admission test.
Upon successfully qualifying the admission test, the applicant shall be called for a final
interview, in which his/her admission shall be confirmed.

Bachelors of Business Administration program is 4 years degree program comprises of 45
courses with 135 credit hours of multi-disciplinary management sciences courses. The program
based on 8 semesters of 05 months each. The intake is twice a year, with a maximum course
load of 06 per semester.
Eligibility:
For admission in Bachelors of Business Administration the applicants must have minimum 2nd
division in Intermediate or A-Level with minimum two C’s (excluding General paper & Urdu)
or equivalent, high school of diploma recognized by the Sindh board.

135 credit hours of pure accounting and finance course structure. The program based on 8

For admission in BS Accounting &Finance the applicants must have 60 % marks in
Intermediate or A-Level with minimum on B and two C’s in principle subjects Accounting ad

BSCS is a 4 years degree program comprises of 39 courses plus one project with 137 credit
hours of pure BSCS course structure. The program based on 8 semesters of 05 months each.
The intake is twice a year, with a maximum course load of 06 per semester.
Eligibility:
For admission in BSCS the applicants must have 50 % marks in Intermediate (HSC) Pre –
Engineering examination and applicant having a combination of Physics, Mathematics and
computer Science is also eligible or GCE (A-Level) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Application having a level or other foreign qualification must provide an equivalence
certificate with atleast 50% marks issued by intermediate board committee of chairmen
(IBCC).

electives as per the applicants chosen majors and 1 Project or 02 courses against their thesis for
the completion of degree program. The minimum time to complete the Project is 06 months/1
regular semester.

Philosophy of Doctorate (Management Sciences)
Philosophy of Doctorate in management sciences is a doctorate degree program comprises of
06 courses and 1 dissertation. The degree based on fully research courses with the dissertation
examined by Local and International examiners of the relevant fields. The 06-course work
based on 18 Credit hours and the 1 dissertation is based on 18 Credit hours.
Eligibility:
For Admissions in the PhD program there should be a minimum 3.00 Cumulative Grading
Point Average (CGPA) in semester system and 1st division in annual system from Higher
Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
The applicant must have carried out research work of minimum 06 credit hours in the previous
degree in the relevant field.
GAT (Subject) or Institute based Admission Test in the area of Management Sciences is
required.
Upon successfully qualifying the Admission test, the applicant shall be called for a final
interview, in which his/her admission shall be confirmed.
Minimum time period for the completion of PhD program is of 03 years, whereas, the
maximum time period is up to 08 years.
