José Antonio Páez University

The José Antonio Páez Private University (abbreviated UJAP ) is a private university in Carabobo State in the Central Region of Venezuela . It has its headquarters in the Municipality of San Diego , very close to the city of Valencia , Carabobo State . It was founded on September 17 , 1997 .

UJAP offers studies in 17 undergraduate courses and 10 postgraduate programs approved by the National Council of Universities of Venezuela ( CNU ). The university has a center for advanced studies called the UJAP Extension Center ( CEUJAP ) located in several cities in the country and with international recognition. UJAP houses a student population of approximately 19,000 students between undergraduate , postgraduate and extension .

The name of the university was designated in honor of one of the heroes of the emancipation of Venezuela and the 4th president of Venezuela , General José Antonio Páez .

Direct Student Entry Policies, Students who meet one of the options may opt for this modality:

Assigned by the CNU, in the last two (2) years to a national university, in a career in the same area of ​​knowledge to which they aspire at UJAP.

Admitted by the internal test in the last two (2) years at a national university, in a career in the same area of ​​knowledge to which they aspire at UJAP.

Admitted by passing the Introductory Course, or equivalent, in the last two (2) years at a national university, to enter a career in the same area of ​​knowledge to which one aspires at UJAP.

Have approved at least fifteen (15) credit units at a University, or thirty (30) credit units at a university institute.

In these cases, you must also comply with the following conditions:

The approved credits must correspond to a career in the same area of ​​knowledge to which you aspire to enter.

No more than two (2) years should have elapsed since the approval of the last subject.

With a pre-graduate degree in long or short careers.

The Delegate Commission of the University Council of the UJAP, upon recommendation of the secretary, may evaluate any other case of direct entry not foreseen in the previous numerals.

Applicants to Architecture and Dentistry careers will not be able to opt for this modality.

Direct Entry Application:

Fill out the Direct Entry application form from the UJAP website.

Consign together with a supporting document, duly signed and stamped by the authority of the issuing entity, in the Study Control office according to the established periods.

Once one of the admission modalities has been approved: Introductory Course, Admission Test, Basic Dentistry Course, Direct Entry or Equivalence, you must record the following documents:

Black background and letter-size copy of the high school degree (with a view of the original, authenticated by the educational establishment of origin or Educational Zone, in case the institute does not work).

Letter-size copy of the certified high school grades (From 1 to 5 years in the updated format, with a view of the original).

Two (2) passport size photos.

Copy of the identity card (enlarged in 150% black and white).

Letter-size copy of the Birth Certificate (with view of the original).

Copy of the certificate of the CNU-OPSU RUSNIE/RUSNIEU/SIN.

Health certificate (only Dentistry).

These documents must be consigned to the Study Control Office, along with a registration envelope that can be purchased at the UJAP copy centers.

Documents to take the Introductory Course, Admission Test or Basic Dentistry Course: 1) Copy of identity card enlarged to 150% black and white, 2) Passport size photo 3) Registration Form (acquire it at the Copy Center).

According to UJAP Resolution CU-442-2013-02-90 with a high school grade point average of (19.0) or more, the payment of the Introductory Course or the Basic Course is exempted, which must be endorsed by the Certificate of the National Income System with a seniority not older than two years.
