Greenlight University
Harvest University (HU) was established in 2014 initially as a school of theology under the name Harvest Institute of Missions University (HIMU). The focus was on training pastors, conducting research and consultancy in the area of missions and missionary work. Against the backdrop of the success recorded as a theological School after conducting feasibility and needs assessment studies, the University Council decided to introduce new programmes aimed at providing holistic education that emphasizes knowledge acquisition, skills and moral development of our students.
The schools introduced are; the Schools of Education, Business Studies and the School of Health Sciences. This re-focusing necessitated the name change from Harvest Institute of Missions University (HIMU) to Harvest University (HU) on 31st May, 2017. Transformation of the University was also prompted by the glaring growing need to supplement government efforts of increasing the man power need in the country in the education, health and skills development sectors.
