Fiji National University was established in 2010 and located in Fiji. Fiji, a country in the South Pacific, is an archipelago of more than 300 islands. The country has a population of approximately 900,000 – 1,100,000. The university is a officially registered university by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Fiji). The university’s doors are open for international student admission. Fiji National University offers preparation, bachelor’s, master’s, diploma and certificate degree programs. Regional and International Students:
All Programmes are available to regional students. Visit the area that’s right for you and find information to select your programme of study.
Fiji National University Admission criteria for programmes;
- individuals aged below 23 will be required to present Form 6 or 7 results
- individuals above 23 will be assessed under the criteria of mature entrants taking into account their work experience and tertiary education.

Once you have been approved for a particular programme you will be given an offer letter with details on:
- Application Number
- Programme Approved
- Tuition fee structure
- Application for Accommodation
Upon acceptance of the offer from Fiji National University International students need to lodge for student permit. They can only travel upon approval of student permit. However, regional students can travel to Fiji with the following details:
- FNU Offer Letter
- Valid Passport
- Return air tickets
- Police report duly signed by your local police (not older than one year)
- Medical report duly signed by your local doctor (not older than three months)
Upon arrival at Fiji National University you will need to present your offer letter to the Academic office for admission purposes. Once you have completed the formalities at Fiji National University you must obtain your student permit which you will need to apply for within the first month of your arrival in Fiji.
International students need to have student permit to travel. Regional students are given 30 days from the date of arrival to lodge their student permit.
