Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree Admission Requirements:
Applicants are required to fill out an application form available at the Office of Admissions, and submit it with the following documents:
• A certified copy of the Secondary College Certificate or an equivalent certificate from inside or
outside Saudi Arabia.
• A certified copy of the National Skills Exam results.
• A copy of the Citizenship Card for males and the Family Card for females or the Residence
Permit (Iqama) for non-Saudis.
• Four colored photos 4 x 6 cm.
• A “No- Objection” Certificate from employer (for employees).
• A medical certificate.
• A certificate of good conduct.
• A non-refundable application fee.
All documents received by the Office of Admissions become the property of FBSU, and thus cannot be returned. Applications for the fall semester are accepted until mid July and applications for the spring semester are accepted until mid December.
Graduate (Master’s) and Doctoral (PhD) Degree Admission Requirements:
For admission, the applicant must satisfy the following:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field from an academic institution accredited/ recognized by the KSA’s Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) with a minimum ranking/rating of “Upper Good; 3.5/5 or 2.5/4”. However, applicants with a rating of “Good” can be accepted if their GPA in their major of study is at least “Very Good”.
- Achieve a minimum score of 5.5 on the IELTS exam (about 500 in paper-based TOEFL or 61 in internet-based tests) or a minimum score of 75% on the University English placement exam.
- Pass a personal interview with the MBA Admissions
Applicants with non-business backgrounds are normally required to pass the foundation courses with a minimum GPA of 3.75 out of 5 before starting the core courses.
Work experience gives the applicant an advantage but is not required for admission.
A program accepts candidates on a competitive basis as seats are limited. Criteria for selection include, but are not limited to, competitive GPA, English proficiency, work experience, supportive references and successful personal interview with an Admissions Officer.
