The health report must be obtained from the full-fledged specialization or university hospitals affiliated to the Turkish Ministry of Health.
If the high school diploma has not been prepared, the original and 6 photocopies of the student’s high school exit certificate will be accepted.
Notarization is not required for photocopies.

** With the decision of the TRNC Ministry of Health and Social Assistance, Turkish students who will study at TRNC universities as of the 2005-06 academic year are required to submit their health reports in the first registration process. They are required to obtain the health report, which includes LUNG X-ray, HIV, HEPATIT B, HEPATIT C and RPR tests requested by the TRNC authorities, from a full-fledged specialization or university hospital affiliated with the TR Ministry of Health. The original of the Health Report is required for immigration procedures.

For immigration procedures, students must enter the country with a passport. After completing the registration process, the students can benefit from the rights applied to the students in the passport application process with the ‘Student Certificate’ they will receive from the University. (e.g. reduced application fee).

Registration of TC – KKTC (Dual National) Students

Turkish – TRNC nationals and high school graduates in Turkey are entitled to enroll in Eastern Mediterranean University through the placement system made according to the results of the University Entrance Exam organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) or through the placement made according to the EMU Entrance and Scholarship Exam. Students placed by ÖSYM are Turkish citizens, while students placed by EMU Entrance and Scholarship Exam pay the tuition fees of TRNC students.

International Students

The applicant must submit a certified copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate or Intermediate Certificate or the equivalent, demonstrating that s/he has satisfactorily graduated from secondary school, and must arrange for other relevant certified documents, such as transcripts or detailed mark sheets, to be released to EMU.

Application to Undergraduate Programs

Applications to the undergraduate programs are accepted twice a year.

High School Diploma, Higher Secondary School Certificate, General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSE), Higher Secondary Certificate, Upper Secondary /Secondary School/ High School/ Senior High School Leaving Certificate, Testimonial, Secondary Education Certificate, Senior School Certificate, Matriculation Examination Certificate, SAT , WAEC , WASSCE , NECO , JAMB, BACCALAUREATE.

Transfer student applications or associate degree holders

Students who are hold an Associate Degree or a National Diploma can apply as a transfer student to the Bachelor Degree programs of the Eastern Mediterranean University.

The requirements for transfer applications to the Eastern Mediterranean University are as follows.

Transfer applications should be to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th semesters. Associate Degree or National Diploma holders generally start from the 5th semester.
Student should not have been dismissed from a University,
All required modules should have been completed from previous classes.
CGPA should be minimum 2.00 out of 4.00 or the equivalent.
