College of Electrical and Electronic Technology Benghazi
The college was initially established as an intermediate institute in 1973 AD, then it was transformed into a Higher Institute of Electricity in 1985 AD, in accordance with the decision of the former General People’s Committee No. (854) for the year 1985 AD. The Institute has been converted into a college under the former General People’s Committee Resolution No. (534) for the year 2009 AD, regarding the conversion of some higher professional centers into colleges for higher technical education, and it was named the College of Electrical and Electronic Technology / Benghazi under the decision of the General People’s Committee for Education and Scientific Research previously No. ( 148) for the year 2010 AD regarding the designation of technical colleges.
