Center Technological University Venezuela
The Center Technological University (UNITEC) (Spanish: Universidad Tecnológica del Centro) was a private university located in Carabobo, Venezuela. Its academic activities began in August 1981 in Guacara. The UNITEC college also had a campus in Valencia.
UNITEC college was, according to many alumni professionals driven to bankruptcy by its thought-to-be think tank: Nilda Sanabria (Academic Dean) and Luis Martinez (Self-designated Chancellor) better known as the “donkey rider” for his countryside customs. After the death of Corina Ettedgui Betancourt (former Academic Dean) and the little contribution of Cesar Peña, UNITEC’s core values changed dramatically, including the organization´s vision and objectives in the local community. As a result, the organization lost market share, reputation, and infrastructure development.
