This House of Studies was conceived as a higher level educational institution, adjusted to the Law of universities in force in the country, oriented towards the training of highly trained professionals to face the challenges of the Nation, both in the techno-scientific field and in the humanistic – social, a task that has been carried out with rational criteria in terms of the use of available human and material resources, as well as the indeclinable purpose of covering the priority areas of development that the country needs and demands in its adaptation to modern technologies. and new educational models of study-learning, according to the globalization process.

The University Council of the Bicentennial University of Aragua, in its ordinary session No. 10 held on March 25, 2015, in accordance with articles 09, 24 and 25 of the Law of Universities and in response to the considerations set forth in a communication of dated February 28, 2012 issued by the Ministry of Popular Power for University Education, Science and Technology, resolved to approve the start of the Curriculum Reform Process

Currently, the Bicentennial University of Aragua, under the direction of its Rector, Dr. Basilio Sánchez Aranguren, develops an  Educational Model with a Competency-Based Curricular Approach, Self-regulated Entropy Transcomplex.     This model makes it possible to articulate the undergraduate academic programs on a four-year basis with quarterly periods, and to incorporate Information and Communication Technologies as means of supporting the learning processes, in the different modalities that are adopted in the institution, always relying on the fundamental norms established by the current Law on Universities.

Bicentenary University of Aragua Admission requirements

High school graduates and professionals interested in studying at the Bicentennial University of Aragua must comply with all the steps established in the pre-registration process, to guarantee their admission to the Institution.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Applicants who have been expelled or sanctioned by official or private university education institutions will not be accepted under any conditions.

The admission of students from other university education institutions for the continuation of studies will be carried out in accordance with article 182 of the current Law on Universities.

University professionals, including TSU who aspire to continue studies at the Bicentennial University of Aragua, must submit a copy of the Title, to exempt the Mandatory Community Service.
