Benadir University

Banadir University is a university located in Mogadishu , Somalia. Banadir University offers doctoral studies, and many other subjects such as engineering, education, etc. It was established in 2002.

On December 3 , 2009, there was a suicide bombing, which attacked a graduate student who was celebrating a party at the Shamo Hotel. About 22 people were killed in the explosion, including 3 government ministers and 40 students of Banadir University who were injured.
