About the university:
Belarusian State Technological University is a university in Minsk, Belarus specialized in engineering and technology. It was established in Gomel in 1930 as the Forestry Institute. In 1941, it was evacuated to Sverdlovsk, now Yekaterinburg. Returned to Gomel in 1944, but in 1946 relocated to Minsk as the Belarusian Institute of Technology
The educational institution “Belarusian State Technological University” (BSTU) is a large multidisciplinary educational and scientific center of the Republic of Belarus, which trains specialists for the industrial and social sectors of the economy in 31 specialties and 62 specializations of higher education, 37 master’s specialties, 27 specialties of secondary special and vocational technical education and 9 retraining specialties. Admission and Requirements.
Applicants submit the following documents to the admission committee:
1. Application addressed to the rector of BSTU (Filled out at the university)
2. Originals of the document on education (and a copy) and annexes to it (with the exception of persons entering for a second higher education).
3. Original certificates of centralized testing (hereinafter referred to as CT) conducted in the Republic of Belarus in 2021 and 2022.
4. Medical certificate on the state of health in the form established by the Ministry of Health.
5. Documents confirming the applicant’s right to benefits when enrolling for higher education.
6. 6 photos 3 x 4 cm.
7. Extract (copy) from the work book, and (or) a copy of the civil law contract, and (or) a copy of the certificate of state registration of an individual entrepreneur (for applicants entering higher education in the correspondence form of higher education).
8. A copy of the diploma of higher education with an attachment, and for students of the HEI – the written consent of the head of the HEI from the place of main study and a certificate stating that the citizen is a student (indicating the results of mastering the content of educational programs of higher education at the time of issuing the certificate) (for persons applicants for second and subsequent higher education), as well as a certificate stating that higher education was obtained on a paid basis (for persons entering for second and subsequent higher education at the expense of the budget for the first time). The consent of the head of the HEI and the indicated certificates are certified by the signature of the head of the HEI and the seal of the HEI;
9. An identity document is presented by the applicant personally. In the case of submission of documents on behalf of the applicant, his representative presents a document proving the identity of the representative, and a copy of the identity document of the applicant.
10. When concluding an agreement for studying on a paid basis, a minor applicant must have the presence of his representative, as well as a document proving the identity of the representative.
11. Copy of 31-33 pages of the passport in 2 copies.
Applicants from among foreign citizens and stateless persons (their representatives) submit the following documents to the selection committee of the HEI:
an application addressed to the head of the HEI in the form established by the Ministry of Education;
certificate (document) of education (copy – for applicants entering the remote form of higher education) indicating the subjects studied and the marks (points) received on them – subject to the recognition of these documents in the prescribed manner in the Republic of Belarus;
the conclusion of the medical advisory commission issued by the territorial health organization of the Republic of Belarus (after passing the mandatory medical examination in the direction of the HEI) – for those entering the full-time (full-time) form of education;
a medical report on the state of health and a certificate of the absence of HIV infection, issued by the official health authority of the country from which the candidate came to study (with the exception of applicants entering the distance learning form of higher education);
original (copy) of the birth certificate;
6 photographs 3 x 4 cm;
certificate of graduation from the faculty of pre-university training, the preparatory department, the preparatory courses of the HEI (at the end of the faculties of pre-university training, the preparatory departments, the preparatory courses of the HEI).
The listed documents, executed in a foreign language, are simultaneously accompanied by their translation into Belarusian or Russian, certified by a notary.
In addition to the documents listed above, if necessary, additionally submitted to the selection committee:
certificate confirming being on the payroll of the national or national team of the Republic of Belarus by type (s) of sports, issued by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism (for applicants entering the correspondence or full-time (evening) form of education, included on the date of submission of documents to the selection committee of the Higher Educational Institution in the list of national or national teams of the Republic of Belarus by type (s) of sports);
conclusion of a medical consulting or medical rehabilitation expert commission on the absence of medical contraindications for training in the chosen specialty (direction of specialty, specialization) and the qualifications to be awarded (for persons with visual impairments, hearing impairments, functions of the musculoskeletal system, disabled children under the age of 18 years, disabled people of I, II or III groups);
the conclusion of the state center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation or a certificate of mastering the educational program of special education at the level of general secondary education (for persons with visual, hearing, musculoskeletal disorders);
an agreement on targeted training of a specialist (worker, employee) – for persons participating in the competition on the terms of targeted training of a specialist;
recommendation of the pedagogical council of the educational institution
(for the persons specified in paragraph eleven of clause 24 of these Rules);
recommendation of a military unit, body of the border service;
recommendation of the internal affairs body (for private and junior commanding officers of the internal affairs bodies);
recommendation of an official in charge of general management of the combined guard of honor company in the preparation and conduct of state ceremonial events;
application of the relevant federation (union, association) for the type (s) of sports;
a copy of the certificate of the master of sports of the Republic of Belarus, master of sports of the Republic of Belarus of international class;
The admission committee has the right to additionally request from the applicant the documents necessary for making the appropriate decision.
Registration for Foreign Applicants
Registration
After the execution of the Contract for training and the issuance of the Order on enrollment in BSTU, you will receive a temporary registration (temporary residence permit) for the period of your stay in the Republic of Belarus.
To do this, you must submit the following documents to the ORIG:
1) a completed application form ;
2) passport with a study visa;
3) migration card;
4) 3 photos;
5) medical insurance (issued in the ORIG);
6) receipts for payment of the state duty for registration.
At the time of issuing a passport, you will be given a Certificate replacing it.
ATTENTION: you must submit your passport for registration within 5 working days after your arrival in the Republic of Belarus.
Passports are issued within 14 days. You can get a passport with registration only after presenting a certificate of passing a full medical examination.
Your administrative costs:
1. Invitation to study at BSTU – 60 US dollars;
2. Temporary registration for the period of stay in the Republic of Belarus – 50 US dollars;
3. Compulsory health insurance – 170 euros / 1 year;
4. Mandatory medical examination – 100 US dollars;
5. “Holiday visa” – 40 US dollars;
6. “Visa to exit” – 25 US dollars.
Payment is made upon the candidate’s arrival at BSTU in Belarusian rubles at the rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus on the day of payment.
